Manchester City’s hopes of First Division football next season suffered a major upset at Leicester.
Mel Machin’s youngsters, battling for a place in the promotion play-offs, went down 1-0 to a Nicky Cross goal in the 50th minute of an exciting match.
City could easily have taken the lead with three superb first half chances cleared off the line. And a cracking Paul Simpson free kick smashed against the woodwork.
