City completed the double over Wolves at Molyneaux in a busy Easter period.
Young Steve Kinsey made his debut and he must have thought it was not going to be a winning one when City went behind within a minute to a John Richards’ goal.
Before the half hour The Blues pulled level with a cracking shot from Dennis Tueart which found the net via the crossbar.
In the second half David Bennett finished off Wolves with a brace to see City win their first game in six attempts.
