FROM THE PRESS BOX

FROM THE MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS FOOTBALL PINK FINAL 2ND APRIL 1988
Manchester City crashed to defeat again against Huddersfield.
A 5th minute goal by Carl Madrick was enough to end the Blues’ hopes at Leeds Road.
City had beaten the Yorkshire side 10-1 in the season, and also put them out of the FA Cup, but they never looked like repeating that sort of performance today.
