With Jimmy Greaves somewhat ineffective Spurs were totally outclassed by City the highlight of which was a vintage wing-display by Tony Coleman who put City into the lead in the 5th minute and just 4 minutes later Lee made it 2-0.
After the interval Spurs lost Mike England to injury and shortly after Mike Summerbee was floored in the box and Lee was clinical from the penalty spot.
And it was Lee who set up Dave Connor for the 4th goal in the 71st minute.
