LAST WORD FROM REID

“Defensively we were sloppy in the first-half and I would have liked to have seen Tony Coton given more protection by the back four.
We stepped up the tempo in the second half and we created enough chances to have got something out of the game.
But to a large extent the defeat was self-inflicted. You cannot give a side like Spurs two goals and expect to win. Every player is entitled to an off game from time to time and this is a match which Keith Curle will want to forget.
Our goalkeeper was excellent with some great saves in the first half, and I thought we were in with the chance when Mike Sheron pulled it back to 2-1 with a tremendous goal.
I am glad to see the back of Spurs for the season. It is not often that one-side inflicts so much damage on another white within the space of a few months but they have looked a quality team when we have met.”
