JEFF HODGSON WRITING IN THE MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS FOOTBALL PINK FINAL 7TH MARCH 1992
Manchester City’s hopes of closing the gap at the top of the First Division nose-dived at Loftus Road.
Manager Peter Reid reckons that the Blues still have a chance of pinching the League title but they crashed 4-0 against Queens Park Rangers.
Off-colour City were two down at the break through Les Ferdinand and Maine Road old boy Clive Wilson, and it was all over when Ferdinand and Simon Barker scored in the second half.
