Graeme Sharpe blasted two goals in nine minutes as Oldham Athletic stunned Manchester City with a 2-1 victory at Maine Road.
David White scored his sixth goal of the season to give the Blues an 18th minute lead but the Latics stormed back after half-time as Sharp scored twice.
City dominated most of the match despite having to re-organise their defence after skipper Keith Curle and full-back Andy Hill went off injured.
