… The Blues went down 1-0, their fourth defeat on the trot against the Teesiders, thanks to a Gary Flitcroft own goal.
Flitcroft, tipped by Peter Reid to follow David White into the England team, was desperately unlucky when he turned a corner past Tony Coton in the 42nd minute.
