MATCH REPORT FROM THE SUNDAY SUN (NEWCASTLE) 27TH DECEMBER 1992 Manchester City's dreams of a White Christmas came true at Maine Road when David White's two goals gave them a win against struggling Sheffield United. White, whose last goal for City was against Leeds on November 7, struck the fist of his two efforts after 20 minutes and made it 2-0 with a header in the 55th minute.
