FROM THE PRESS BOX

JEFF HODGSON WRITING IN THE MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS FOOTBALL PINK FINAL 20TH SEPTEMBER 1980 Manchester City are still waiting for their first win of the season. The Blues suffered another 90 minutes of frustration as they slumped to a 2-1 setback against Stoke City at Maine Road this afternoon. City were left stunned by a two goals in four minutes burst from the Potteries side in the first half and rarely looked like staging a recovery. Dutch import Loek Ursem struck the first blow with a goal after 35 minutes, and four minutes later Lee Chapman cracked in the second. Dennis Tueart put some heart back into the Blues when he headed home just before the interval, but City never made a fight of it after the resumption.
