Paddy Fagan was the star of the show despite not getting on the scoresheet the closest he came was a scorching drive from the right against the woodwork. And a minute later his volley was headed off the line by Ashall. He also brought two great saves from Leeds' custodian Wood in the second half Both City‘s goals came in the first half.
