There were doubts that the game at Highfield Road would go ahead with most of The Midlands under inches of snow, however the pitch was cleared and passed as fit to play on. And City took advantage after just nine minutes as Dennis Tueart headed home for his second winning goal in two games. City looked comfortable up to the break and even though Dave Sexton's team upped their game in the second half, City survived Coventry's best chance as Thomson hit the upright, and took all the points for the second week running.
